Branches & Working Groups
Branches
Electoral
The CS-DSA electoral branch works to support and implement socialist policies on the local and state level via direct action, canvassing, and community organizing. We partner with other activist groups throughout the state to support policies like social housing, M4A, and the Green New Deal.

Labor
Also known as the Workers’ Solidarity and Unity Project (WSUP), the labor branch of CS-DSA organizes campaigns alongside labor unions, labor organizers, and workers across the city, giving workers resources for direct action and union campaigns. We also host frequent labor rights and labor organizing workshops.

Working Groups
Palestine
Supports the movement for Palestinian liberation and the fight against apartheid, occupation, and genocide worldwide. We stand in solidarity with Palestinian organizers both in Palestine and in Colorado as we demand divestment from the Israeli apartheid state and an end to U.S. and Western imperialism and foreign aggression.
Abolition
Primarily focused on building the movement to Stop the Cop City project planned for Colorado Springs in solidarity with the broader movement to Stop Cop Cities across the country. In general, we work to demilitarize and abolish the police, to abolish locked facilities and the prison industrial complex, and to abolish the militarization of our border and the criminalization of Black and Brown immigrants and asylum seekers.
Political Education
A series of educational events in which we engage in analysis and discussion of political, historical, and economic topics from a socialist perspective.
Eco-Socialist
Dedicated to the combining of climate justice and socialism from an understanding that capitalism cannot fix our climate crisis.
